Friday

Time Room Event
1:30-2:30 PM Roundtable Reception

Take a look around the grounds and get settled in. If you're completely new to Discord, we recommend coming to the reception so you have some time to get familiar with the software and the server.
2:30-3:00 PM Auditorium Opening Ceremonies
3:30-4:30 PM Faery Cairn 'Kin Mindfulness(ish) Meditation
Andros

In a blatant rip-off of an homage to the Othercon 'kin meditation, Andros will use visualization and mindfulness techniques to assist the participants in connecting more with their 'kin selves and to better orient theirselves to the gathering.
5:00-6:00 PM Auditorium Balancing Otherworld and Mundane Life
Searc (Blythe)

Sídhe soul in a human body: How I manage working with the Sídhe, spending time in the Otherworld, and remain grounded in my human body. Finding balance is not always easy.
6:30-7:30 PM Faery Cairn Gate Exercise
Arethinn

A guided journey/exercise from David Spangler and Jeremy Berg's Card Deck of the Sidhe, visiting four directional gates and then the central Howe (Hollow Hill), slightly adjusted for non-human participants. The exercise can be found online (unaltered) here and the cards can be purchased from Portals Connect bookstore.
8:00-9:00 PM Auditorium Paltareon listen-along

In 1979, several of the Elf Queen's Daughters, under the band name Aeron, "the trans rock elven band", released an album titled Paltareon: The Far Memory of the Elves on the presumably self-named label Eldar Productions. Come listen to this curious piece of folk/prog/psychedelic rock history. (Yes, it's very 70s.)

Saturday

Time Room Event
12:30-1:30 PM Roundtable Elfae in Fiction
Group Discussion

Otherkind are often accused of being role-players or fantasy fans who've taken things too far, but fictional elements can often be used as handy reference points to describe oneself (e.g. "kind of like Strands of Starlight") and/or adapted to real-life magical workings. Is any of this true for you? What examples of elves, fae, etc. in books or media do you love or hate, and have you adopted anything from fiction into your own practices?
2:00-3:00 PM Roundtable Fae Poetry Circle

Bring your own to read aloud if you got 'em, or magical favorites from other authors if you don't, or look through an abridged Faery Miscellany of short works to select something.
3:30-4:30 PM Roundtable Discussion of Pen-and-Paper RPGs as a Form of 'Kin Expression
Andros

RPGs are a gateway to the imagination, and a way to explore facets of one's self. In this open panel, we'll discuss how RPGs can facilitate exploring one's kin identity, people's experiences with RPGs and their kin self, and different RPG systems and their implications for this kind of exploration.
5:00-6:00 PM Roundtable The Otherkin Avatar Project
Group Discussion

In 2004, Michelle Belanger offered a closing ritual for Kinvention North sometimes known as the Otherkin Avatar Ritual. It was based on spiritual exploration of the acute seven-pointed star (a.k.a elven star or faery star) and featured "Avatars" who were archetypes of categories of otherkin. Let's talk about that. You can find the ritual and some background here.
6:30-7:30 PM Roundtable Group Discussion on Selected Writings From the Silver Elves
Liryen

Get the readings in advance here (all PDF format):

What Are the Dark Elfae?
What is the difference between a shapeshifter and someone who is an otherkin blend?

Sunday

Time Room Event
11:00 AM - 12:00 PM Auditorium How I Overcame PTSD, Phobia and OCD with Daemon Sex Magick
Debbie, the Friggin Faery

A Personal Gnosis; stories I share with you with time for questions, conversations, corrections etc. WARNING: this presentation will contain ADULT CONTENT.
12:30-1:30 PM Faery Cairn Sanctuary Meditation
Tuiliel

In this workshop, Tuiliel will lead a guided meditation to a place of sanctuary she calls the Waystation, where healing and respite can be found. Once you've been led through the main atrium to the top of the great tree, you are welcome to wander, though this journey will take only ten more minutes from that point before Tuiliel gathers everyone back. We'll have a little bit of time to share stories and experiences before the end of the session. All are welcome to return and explore more whenever they like.
2:00-3:00 PM Auditorium The Ancient Forest
Arethinn

A guided tour of some Elf/Fae/Sidhe/Otherkind websites from the late 1990s through early 2000s, hopefully providing "Whoa, I'd forgotten about that..." for all us old fruits and archaeological curiosities for the young nuts. Please be sure to keep hands, long hair, and trailing clothing away from the spinning ankhs. (Actual spinning ankhs not guaranteed.) A list of the sites visited plus some others there wasn't time for is available here.
3:30-4:30 PM Roundtable Divination Panel and/or Salon
Andros

In this mega-chill open panel, we'll discuss favored methods of divination (including some kin-centered ones), and have a bit of a show-and-tell/salon. Bring your oracle of choice (or not, it's a free realm)! See a record of the Tarot reading Andros did here.
5:00-5:30 PM Auditorium Closing Ceremonies
5:30-7:30 PM Roundtable Debriefing and "Dead Dog Party"

Time to wind down, discuss highlights and lowlights of the gathering, and have a last beverage or snack before you go.
